Cherie Mercer is a visionary leader with over a decade of progressive experience in educational leadership and program development. As the Founder and CEO of FJ EmpowerED Solutions, Cherie brings a passion for equity, innovation, and meaningful change to schools, families, and organizations. Her career spans roles in special education, instructional leadership, and organizational management, where she has successfully designed and implemented systems that improve teaching, learning, and institutional effectiveness.
Cherie holds a Principal PK-12 Administrative II Certificate and is pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Immaculata University. She is renowned for her ability to mentor aspiring leaders, foster collaborative partnerships, and deliver high-quality professional development tailored to the needs of diverse communities. Through FJ EmpowerED Solutions, Cherie leverages her expertise to empower others with evidence-based strategies, a growth mindset, and the tools to thrive in today’s dynamic educational landscape.

At FJ EmpowerED Solutions, our mission is deeply personal. Our organization's name, “FJ,” honors two of my greatest inspirations: my grandchildren, Faith and Jeremiah. They embody everything that drives our work: hope, resilience, and the power of education and community to transform lives.
Faith and Jeremiah remind me daily of the potential within every individual to grow, overcome challenges, and thrive when given the right support and opportunities. Their innocence, curiosity, and strength are the essence of why we do what we do—to ensure that everyone, regardless of their starting point, has the chance to succeed.
This organization was born from a vision to empower individuals, families, and organizations through personalized, evidence-based strategies. Just as I strive to guide Faith and Jeremiah toward fulfilling their potential, I am committed to helping others discover their paths to growth and resilience. Every service we offer and strategy we implement is grounded in the belief that meaningful change is possible for all.
